Urgent - Cambs. Future Transport Consultation
Cambridgeshire Future Transport is an ongoing programme where individuals and groups have the chance to provide
input into local transport services. Over the next three years the Council will be transforming subsidised services and
there is £1.5M available to be invested. However, this will be spread over various alternatives as well as scheduled
buses, including car-sharing, pre-booked minibuses and taxis. It is very much up to individual communities to get
involved and say what they really want.
SNABUS will be formally taking part, but you can also have your say - visit the CFT website at
www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/cft or contact the team by phone
on 0345 045 0675. Alternatively contact us at info@snabus.org.uk.
Welcome!
The St Neots Area Bus Users Society is one of a number of voluntary local bus user groups
operating across the UK. Our aims are:
- To represent the interests of bus passengers in the St Neots area
- To encourage people to make more use of our bus services
- To liaise between passengers, operators, local authorities and other interested groups
Members of the Society will receive regular newsletters and invitations to meetings with people from the industry and
local government. An inaugural meeting was held at the Priory Centre, St Neots on Saturday 28th July, with guest
speaker Suzy Scott of BABUS and
Here To There Publishing (who specialise in timetables).
Future meetings will be organised bringing together councillors and community leaders, and we will have open
questions about our initial work. You will be warmly welcomed.
We now have a complete set of links to
bus timetables for the St Neots area, including
the free services for students at Hunts Regional College.
Would you like to be active in campaigning and representing us? We are looking for enthusiastic committee members.
You don't need to know your
Dennis Trident from your
Volvo B7, or have a photographic memory for timetables and routes...
just energy and a desire to make a difference.
